The Medicare Annual Election Period ended December 7th

The Medicare Annual Election Period ended December 7th –Let’s start the new year on the right track!

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) has ended, and if you made changes to your plan for the upcoming year, there are a few essential things to remember. Be sure to keep an eye out for mail from your insurance carrier, which will include new cards and a summary of benefits.

With plenty of other mail arriving at this time of year, it’s crucial not to miss this delivery, as you’ll need to present your new cards to any providers you visit on or after January 1, 2024.

If you didn’t change your plan during the AEP, it’s still a good idea to review the Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) from your current insurance provider. The ANOC should have been mailed to you in September, and it’s wise to examine it to see if there are any changes for the coming year. Many Medicare beneficiaries have benefited from a review of their current coverage, and although the enrollment period for plan changes has ended, it’s still a good idea to have a complete understanding of your coverage.

As a local, independent agency, we are here to help you prepare for the new year, offer plan reviews, and provide guidance about coverage options in your area. There is no cost for a consultation, or to meet and go over your current plan, and there is never any obligation to enroll.

As always, call Beck Insurance Agency in Archbold or Whitehouse, Ohio at 419-446-2777 or email me directly at lori@beckinsurance.com to review or ask any questions you may have.  You can also submit your request online by clicking here.
