Kirk D. Beck, co-owner Kirk first started his insurance career in 1974 after joining his father's (Vincent S. Beck's) insurance agency. From 1975 to 1985, Kirk operated a branch office in Fayette, Ohio called the "Givin-Fayette Agency". In 1985 the Fayette office was merged into the Archbold office, and at that time Kirk and his brother Bill took over the ownership and management to form the V.S. Beck Insurance Agency, Inc. In 1978, Kirk completed an extensive series of seminars and exams to earn the professional designation of CIC. (Certified Insurance Counselor) Kirk and his wife, Sally, reside in Archbold and have two children (Joe and Jeff), and are members of the Zion Mennonite Church. Kirk's hobbies include fishing, hunting, and travel. Kirk places high priority on being fair with customers and helping them with risk management and claims problems. He is licensed in Accident & Health, Life, Property & Casualty, and Variable Annuities. Kirk's primary focus is home, auto, farm, and business insurance. Contact Kirk.
William R. "Bill" Beck, co-owner Bill also joined his father's agency in 1977 after attending school at both Goshen, and the Ohio State University. Bill became a licensed agent in 1977, and also attained his CIC designation in 1980. Bill is a member of the Archbold Rotary Club, the Zion Mennonite Church, and previously had served as treasurer of the Archbold Area Chamber of Commerce. Bill and his wife Kathy have four children, Owen, Katie, Janie, and Jackson. In his spare time, Bill enjoys performing music in a band, watching his children compete in athletics, and riding motorcycles, among many other things. Bill is also licensed in Accident & Health, Life, Property & Casualty, and Variable Annuities. Bill's expertise is life/health benefits, annuities, retirement plans, and business insurance. Connie Nicolen Connie, our front lines service representative, began learning the insurance industry from Vincent Beck in 1966 when she joined the agency. Later that year, Connie took time off to raise her children. In 1976 Connie came back to work and has been at Beck Insurance ever since. Connie has been a licensed Property & Casualty, and Accident & Health insurance agent, since 1980. Also, since 1993 she has held the designation of CPSR, (Certified Professional Service Representative) and has held the designation of CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) since 1994. Connie and her husband Jim have three children, Mike, Molly, and Lilly. Connie is an active member of the Archbold United Methodist Church and enjoys gardening and reading in her spare time. Conrad Beck Conrad has been with the agency since October 1989. He is licensed to work with all types of individual and group insurance with most of his time dedicated to working with cities, villages, schools, fire departments, and county fairs. His degrees and designations include a B.A. in Mathematics, M.S. in Education, and CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent), yet he claims that his greatest education was that of growing up on a farm. Prior to being an insurance agent, he taught school for 7 years. Conrad and his wife, Peggy, have 2 married daughters, (Andrea & Erin), enjoy traveling to places much warmer than northwest Ohio, and are both actively involved in a wide variety of church activities. Conrad enjoys sports and has been a long-time fan of both the Cleveland Indians and Browns. During his spare time, you would most likely find him playing the piano, singing, water skiing, or doing just about any kind of physical activity outside. Contact Conrad.
Sharon Barton Sharon's insurance career began when she was hired into the Beck Insurance Agency in November of 1990. Sharon received her Ohio Property & Casualty license in 1992, and her CISR designation in 1998. Sharon's biggest strength is her people skills as a customer service representative. Sharon and her husband, Terry, have three children, Jacob, Ben, and Sarah. They are very active as members of the Pettisville Missionary Church, where both Sharon and Terry have taught Sunday School since 1990. Joseph Beck Before joining the agency, Joe obtained a degree in advanced automotive technology and worked as an auto technician at a local GM dealership from '96 to '01. While there, he received the designation of ASE Master Auto Technician. It was at the dealership where Joe learned the importance of people skills, and the necessity to put the customer first. Joe was hired in to the family business in November of 2001, and received his Ohio Property & Casualty license that December. In December of 2003, Joe also received his Life, Health, Disability, and Annuities license. And in 2006 he received his CIC designation. Joe's expertise is evaluating and providing customers with sound coverage for their homes, autos, farms, and/or small businesses. Joe and his wife Tana currently reside in Whitehouse with kids Justin, Zachary, and Max. Joe is a member of the Zion Mennonite Church and enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing, biking, and other outdoor activities. Contact Joe.
Ronda Rupp Ronda Rupp started at Beck Insurance in October 2006 as a health insurance administrative assistant to Bill Beck. In August 2008 she became a fully licensed health, life, disability, and long term care agent. Ronda resides in nearby Pettisville with her husband Arnie, and her children Aaron and Laura.
